Use the EMV sandbox test cases
Request the sandbox entitlement, select a named test and compare validation results without confusing a test approval with certification.
Register for access
The public setup requires the commercial program relationship, a merchant account, Test Mode and Encrypted Devices enabled in Partner and Merchant portals. It identifies https://test.cardeasexml.com/gwdirect.cex for an initial test transaction; supply its TransactionID to integration support to request sandbox access. No transaction or access request was made here.
Configure the supplied tooling
The source describes a supplied Postman collection and its ApiKey variable, but does not embed the collection artifact in this indexed page. Obtain that collection through your program contact. Use the SDK/Direct Connect request format rather than an invented minimal XML body.
Select a named test
Put the exact case name in Request/TransactionDetails/Reference. Amounts in the case table are minor units. Use only the scenario fixtures
The source table supplies scenario PAN, Track2 and test PIN values. They are testing fixtures for this endpoint, not live-card examples. Use the exact fixture for the chosen case; mixing another case’s EMV values can produce a validation decline. Full fixture data is included below.
Read the validation path
Response/Result/PaymentProviderError identifies missing or invalid ICC tags, lengths/formats, country/currency mismatch, cryptogram problems and terminal capability conflicts. Multiple tags use | separation; multiple faults within a tag use semicolons. Fix the request against its selected scenario before interpreting its outcome as an acquirer decision.
Test fixture values
Public sandbox fixture values, not production credentials. The incorrect-request result is a decline except the SCA case, where the source shows an approval as the incorrect outcome.
